CHRISTOPHE SAINT-ONGE À QUÉBEC
QUÉBEC, CANADA – AOÛT 2025
Curator and Art producer : STREET ART IN ACTION and QUÉBEC NOVA MURALE
Entitled “Where Our Paths Cross,” “Là où nos chemins se croisent“.
Street Art in Action, Quebec Nova Murale and the City of Quebec are pleased to announce the mural created by artist Christophe Saint Onge. This project was made possible through the Cultural Development Agreement between the Government of Québec and the City of Québec.
Entitled “Where Our Paths Cross,” “Là où nos chemins se croisent“, the mural offers a poetic and meaningful visual universe. At the heart of the composition, a hummingbird in flight seems to emerge from the wall and immerse itself in our daily lives. A symbol of lightness, future, and hope, it invites a collective awareness of the importance of preserving our ecosystem. The work blends harmoniously with the building’s architecture, while reflecting the neighborhood’s identity and memory. The “Saint-Jean Quarter” lettering, integrated into the composition, underscores the mural’s unique roots, which could not exist elsewhere. The stylized fleurs-de-lis weave a link between nature and Quebec’s cultural identity, while the overall effect pays homage to a place where heritage, diversity, creativity, and environmental commitment intersect.
A big thank you to @villequebec , to the neighbors and the production team for their support and help to bring this heartfelt project to life!
